Other high value symbols include the giraffe and the zebra.
The biggest value symbol is the stacked symbol lion. This offers payouts of up to 1,000 coins if you can land five on a payline Although with this symbol being stacked, it’s possible for you to win on multiple paylines when you land this symbol, especially if you have hit some Wild symbols on the reels too.
Additional features
To help you achieve more wins, there is the Diamond Wild symbol. This substitutes for all the high and low value symbols, plus the stacked Lion symbol. Although somewhat disappointingly, it doesn’t offer a high value win if you trigger several diamond symbols on a payline. Nor does it offer you a multiplier for any win it completes.

There’s no denying that 50 Lions casino game is a very simple slot. Although it has a 5×4 reel set up and 50 paylines, this is essentially a slot with a single Free Spins bonus round and a Wild symbol with one set of stacked reels. That makes it simple to play and easy to understand.
Mixed value wins
One of the better features of the slot as you notice as you play is that the size of wins you get does vary nicely. There are some very small wins, but they are interspersed with a good number of wins of 2x to 5x your standard wager and these bets do soon add up when the slot is playing more loose. However there are times too when it plays very tight.
Lots of paylines

Very basic presentation
Being charitable, you could call the 50 Lions slot a retro styled game, but in truth it is just looking very dated. The graphics are reminiscent of what you would find on the old 8-bit games, chunky and not particularly refined. The sound is also extremely basic with just a series of generic casino effects.
Lack of variation in gameplay
Perhaps the biggest issue with the slot is the fact that after a while, there just isn’t enough happening in the slot to keep you spinning the reels. The 50 Lions slot should have a solid play value as it is purportedly a more medium to low variance game, but I found it very tough to make any form of profit on the slot and even when the game seemed to offer more wins, I found myself down money considerably more often than I’d like.

I've said this before on NG slots channel but here it goes again anyway : With both 50 lions and 100 lions the biggest and most frequent wins on max bet that I have gotten have both been while playing one set of lines down from max (40 for 50 lions and 80 for 100 lions).
Doing max bet with 50 lines most I have won is around 20-30x but I have gotten multiple handpays (around 9-10 i think over five years, but I don't play this game overly often) and noticed that the bonuses seem to be a lot more frequent (even if the majority only pay around 20x) while playing 40/80 lines at max bet. At first I thought it may only be the one at my local that plays like this but I've noticed it happens at most of the venues where I have played this slot.

The version that adds wilds every spin is 50 lions deluxe.
The difference between 50 lions and 100 lions is of course 50 and 100 lines. Also, in the 100 lion version, the only symbol that pays for 2 of a kind is the lion. The 50 lions version has 3 symbols that pay for 2 of a kind. It might seem trivial, but my favorite part about 100 lions vs. 50 lions is that in 100 lions, the bonus symbols make noise.

The wild's don't increase, and for some reason retriggers aren't possible until the 5th spin (it says right on the card 'up to 15 free games').. There is an updated version I think where you choose your diamond color and it awards 1-6 added wilds per spin.
